About
We rank gear on data, not on what pays best.
Methodology
Every recommendation goes through three checks:
- Is the demand real? Twelve months of weekly Google Trends data — not just the level but the slope. Categories with falling demand get rejected, however good they look on paper.
- How entrenched is the competition? Review counts on the top listings. A category where the leaders hold 20,000 reviews at 4.8 stars is one where buyers are already well served, and we say so.
- What do people actually complain about? Reddit threads and low-star reviews, where people describe in their own words what broke, what didn't fit, and what they returned.
What we don't do
- Recommend a product the data argues against, however good the commission is.
- Make medical claims. If you're in pain or injured, see a doctor or physiotherapist.
- Recommend supplements.
